Ohgosh! The video :D :D hahaha im really glad we went for it, though I just couldnt do the last part :/ im like totally determined to be able to do the monkey bars by next year, been doing weights everyday yknow!! One day, one day i'll have bulging biceps. haha. Though it'll probably turn flabby when i grow old. Hmmm not so attractive. Mandy! Next year we shall join tgt as a team & the UNDERSOMES will RULE!! ANYWAY, im supposed to be sleeping now, so that I can wake up bright and early tmr to start on my mugging session before trooping off to school after lunch for a two hour class (i'll be taking that long just to travel there & back). Sigh, torture. I need a kick up my ass, seriously.

Just a thought;

I know that troubles and challenges are meant to make us stronger. And that we shouldnt pray for the burden to be taken away, but rather, pray that He'll teach us something from it. But how difficult that can be! I always thought that asking God to comfort me meant that He'd take away that sinking feeling in my heart, that my heart would be light and I would be happy even through the problem. But I've come to realise that our idea of comfort is completely different from God's idea of comfort.

He is with us, through it all. As we embrace our own pain, He'll embrace it with us; He knows it's good for us, and it'll help us grow. God knows what's best for us. He'll comfort us in ways that are beyond our human understanding. And as we go through life and encounter the challenges & troubles in it, we should always be aware of His presence, His mighty hands; moulding, shaping and forming us. I'm sure that's worth smiling for. Worthy enough a reason to turn that frown upside down (:

Haha! Okay heres a summary cum translation to what i was saying:

1st long para: Higher Level Science! We have lots of practicals. and on each one we have to do a write up on everything we do.. It's crazy stuff, believe me. So I have 3 Internal Assessments on my hand right now, to hand up. The purple slip is the graded IA's which will count into the final year marks. D: We have to raise $100 pax to bring to another country to help the needy, so Tash's class has been brewing stuff in their airconditioned classroom, which wafts to mine all the time.

2nd para: I'm going to india for my Window of the World trip, where I'll be bringing $100 with me. My class has raised $150 which means each person has earned $5. :S And my trip there costs $1000!

3rd para: YLS is Youth Leaders summit. Tash is running for council so she had to attend!

YUP. My biology is now at bacteria structure and virus. We're not doing indepth studying, unlike A lvls, but broad based, so I'll know alot more interesting stuff than you do. HAHA kidding.

*huffapuffpuff* I need an oxygen mask! Yes, 2 HL sciences is no joke, so many IA's not done! I've gotten the purple slip already and havent started on it yet! How're you Tash, yes, I rarely see you around even though you're a class away from me! Is your class fun? I always smell food coming from your classroom man, so temptinggggg!! HOW DO YOU SURVIVE. that day it rained heavily, and even the rain started to smell like bak kut teh! But apparently it was Tea eggs. TEA EGGS. What is that!! HAHAHAHAHA. You must treat me someday.

And INDIA INDIA CHENNAI here I come! Guess what, we're sleeping in airconditioned dorms! How cool is that. But even cooler, we're doing beach cleaning. -.- Why pay $1000 to go there and clean their beaches??? Alas, it is so.
At least we can do something useful like teach the children about the environment at the same time& do sight seeing! Hehe.

Hey undersomes!

School's in full swing for all of us and we're feeling the heat (it's BOILING, singapore is. Thank goodness for the air con) ; CCAs are starting, homework's piling up, sleep has become ever so precious, tests coming and going. Most of all, we're all feeling incredibly nostalgic ): i hope we'll just hold on for now, and always remember the awesomely retarded abb training times we've had. I have faith in our BANANA SOLID (ooops that aint very convincing but oh well, you get what i mean. maybe a very very unripe banana) friendship! It can very well stand the test of time and space and meetingless days IM SURE (: I think about times spent with you guys at the most random of times and it always makes me smile. Hope that we'll find the time to meet. And you know what, even though we're in the same school kath, i barely ever talk to you! So yes, i miss you too!! Mandzzz please try to post sometimes when you swing by the blog! Im so happy you still come and check ((: but you must've seen the valentine's heart more than ten times already HAHA.

it's been a while since i posted here. but never have i been so lost and confused with regards to cca choices...

i really don't know what i should do, there are so many choices, so many pros, so many cons, so many what ifs, so many buts. is there really a perfect (or 2 perfect) choices for me? i dont know how i'm gonna do if join this, or if i join that, or if i can cope, or if it's right for me. i guess all i can do is trust in Jesus, for He holds my future and He has gone ahead to declare that it is good!

give me some direction and purpose, dear Lord Jesus, i need to know, but nevertheless my trust is in you and your grace, & i believe that all these things will work out for my good in the end. thank you for your help, grace and guidance through this period. amen.
