hello!
well so sorry guys i couldn't go for training today. i had a bad headache and i felt like vomitting during the last period. its like there was something in my throat and i felt like....bleahhh just get it all out pls!
you know, some people think blogs are like personal online diaries. since when man? when you post something online, the whole world can see whatever you feel/think/did. even if you make something private, the hackers can still get in. and you have to be oh-so-careful whatever you post, cos there's always the chance you could get caught for slander or something. maybe that's why i feel that blogs do not represent a person's true thoughts or feelings sometimes. you can't judge anyone from their posts, cos of course they will not be stupid enough to post anything that will get them into trouble.
the point i'm making is, there is just no substitude for a handwritten personal diary sometimes. yes, as ancient as that idea sounds in this day and age, it's still one of the many wonders that ANYONE who can read and write can have access to. besides, don't you agree that sometimes, you don't want ANYONE to know what you really feel deep down inside, so we either write it down or go to God with our problems/thoughts because we all live in a conditional world. and we have our deepest darkest secrets.
ok i dont know why today my post sounds so deep and emo...well, anyway, just the other day, i read on someone's blog the questions, 'Who would you want to be for a day?' My immediate answer was either Maria Sharapova or Ana Ivanovic. I really wanna know what it's like to be a famous tennis star, to be rich, famous, good-looking, great at tennis, young and in their prime all at the same time! i want to play at wimbledon, meet rafael nadal, etc. the experience would just be so surreal(well, it is surreal, to begin with) But then a day isn't enough. At least a week is more realistic. Maybe then I will appreciate what I truly am but also understand hot it feels to be them.
so then back to the question. WHO?? actually i can't think of anymore. maybe being myself isn't that bad after all. sure, my life isn't perfect. my grades, character, looks, friends, family, they are all not perfect. but hey, like ms cheang once said, perfect is boring. i've got a good life, i have received and know God, i've got clothes, food, education, a home, friends, family, plenty of opportunities actually. i'm really blessed by God when you consider half the world lives in poverty. WOW. just thank god so much. so people, when you feel like griping and complaining, just put things into perspective and count your blessings. if not for the grace of god, we could have been living in sichuan, china and in school when the earthquake occurred. i'm just really grateful for everyone and everything. i know this sounds really cliche but that's how i feel. my heart really goes out to those affected by the natural disasters happening in the world today, as well as to those who live in poverty. i pray that God will take good care of you all, and be your stable rock and shepherd always. God bless.
mandy(:
