hey this is just a short short post in direct response to kat's most recent post. (my post for today is the one directly below this btw)

firstly, i'm not a strange bird! haha there's nothing wrong with finding enjoyment in everything you do. yes, that's hard sometimes but it's a great feeling to put your all into something you feel passionately about. you end up emotionally drained and sometimes you get hurt but hey, that's the only way to live life to the max!

i think that in life, we always wait for the one perfect moment, that one perfect time to do something, in all honesty, if you just take the time to see things from different angles, it's not all that hard to find joy in the stuff you dread doing sometimes. it's the tiny little things others do for you that make you happy, not those big fantastic moments of glory you crave. ( which never happen until you least expect it or when you learn to enjoy life the way it is, not always roses and wine, but nevertheless, an enjoyable roller coaster ride, when you learn how to manage your emotions and adjust your attitude after a horrifying nerve wrecking fall, to rise from the ashes over and over again)

i dunno where i saw this quote, could have been on this very blog alone or on someone else's or maybe in a book or newspaper but it said that "Nothing is a waste of time if you use that experience wisely." indeed how true.

oh and my friend screamed in my ear cos she's always super hyper for her cca, her friends or i dunno, she just felt high maybe? no she didnt see natasha doing the crazy stuff (not sure if she knows natasha) i'm the one who spotted natasha doing silly actions on stage, and natasha was like mouthing to me, 'hey i see mandy' up on stage. at least i think she was talking to me, haha, cos we had eye contact and then i waved to her after she mouthed those words.

yeah i think that's all yeah? ok maybe this post was not that 'short short' after all. haha, got carried away sorry!

today i feel so slack. haiyo, cos like this week got no test and my parents are not going for meet the parents on friday.



today was just like a normal school day, kena the subject of rumours and getting dao-ed again by kat in favour of her love! haha. hmmm, you know today during chem, i thought ms chng was joking when she said she wanted to do a lesson study on how good cedarians memory was. i don't think having this test was an accurate representation of anyone's memory. if you revise your work regularly, you can still do well even if you don't look at the text again. so to test people's memory, should play memory games!! haha ok but then i bet i would probs suck at them.


anyway, just wanna wish my big bro aka korkor a happy happy 18th Birthday! pls start acting your age ok? and my wish for you is to become a better brother to me!! haha just kidding la. i know you're not gonna see this but still, yay! 18 is a HUGE milestone. hope you achieve your dreams whatever they are and be happy in life! and also more appreciative of what your younger sister does for you! tee hee :D



sometimes i wonder why people refuse to give others a second chance. i look around me and i realise a lot of people just refuse to change their original opinions of others regardless of how or what the person does. i can see this in almost every aspect of my life in the people i come across. i think it's really sad when people do this. esp when people try their hardest but others don't wanna give them a second chance. as a result, these people start giving up.

i feel like saying to them, ' don't give up on yourselves, cos God never gives up on you, his beloved child'

Even if it seems as if everyone has given up on you...just go to him, he is there for you.

btw, that phrase(in quotation marks about God not giving up on us) was once spoken by tricia in sec 1, i've remembered it ever since :)

What I really admired most about the whole thing was..the teamwork.

they all put in their 110% in it..and look at the results.

Ofc before all this, tough work had to be put in..

but they all strived for one purpose.

Why cant we be like that too?

The prac ones were tiringgggggggg) And yes, since ur so interested, I did do a superman strip outside the hall to get my jersey out..I was sweating like a potato!! I got (unwanted) help from somebody to take off my (sch) skirt cos I think she was very kanchiong. haha! She almost pulled down my jersey skirt along with it.

Eh! and i did the monitress dance too!! Ohman. Paiseh! hahaha aiya but i don't really care about my face though..like how i maluated myself infront of ALOT of ppl a few days ago..during math test!! heh just remembered what my friend told me.."you don't care about face?? Excuse me, if you didn't realise, your face is now the face of an OAI, a monitress and a cca ldr.." Ohwells. I still don't bother..

hi!!

got nothing much to say actually. except today during ss, mr chai had a VP in class observing. yeah so he did some sort of debate on the most effective way of deterrence for singapore. like a SEQ judgemental question. dunno why but my group was the one that kena hardest hit by all corners. wah!! then later on in concluding round, we only had 1 min to rebut everything so we all went up and started fighting back all the assumptions they made about our point. haha. then people were like, wow mandy wanna fight huh? haha, ok i admit i was a bit intense but yeah i think i got some of that intensity from RMUN. surprising isn't it? didnt know RMUN would have such an impact. i didn't care what anyone thought of me, (even though VP was there haha) i just wanted to fight for my side. i guess now it's over, it's quite silly to get so pissed over a small debate like that haha. i don't reallly care if we win or not actually. i know i had fun fighting back haha.

i'm turning out to be nick hornby, taking things too seriously. ( for you info, our latest el summary test was a passage from nick hornby, yes the one about football...awesome article, although i'm not an arsenal fan :D)

hello

im in a rush to blog bcos i wanna go sleep.

so tired today....we had el summary test, then we had e maths ct and then they gave back a maths ct and i had training....oh man tired la!

nothing much happened today except the above. except i feel happier today than i felt last week. yay! i think its bcos of the watching of my pastor's video on the Feeding of the Five Thousand yest, even though there were so many tests today and how we can always trust in God, etc. i dont view it exactly in the same year kat does, but still i know he's always there for me. i know his favour is on me! after he gave me such good results for a maths, results i know deep down i never thought i could get ON MY OWN ABILITY and laziness and discontentment and lack of faith thus far. it's not that type of wow i got 30 plus marks i'm a genius kind of feeling like sanguu, its just being grateful and contented with what the Lord has given to me. (and no, i didnt get 30 plus marks, i dont care if you think im lousy, but im happy and grateful to the Lord for what i did get)

i am happy that most people in my class improved, but sad that some did not. i dunno how to console them. i just hope that people in my class dont give up hope and continue on the hard work they are putting in and keep on plugging away at it. we will get there!

hmmph....so yeah thats all i gotta say today. i really hope we get our tshirt up and running in time for national day!

Cos we had so many things to do, but i guess we always found ourselves havin sososososo much fun together as well. I would never had survived monitress life without the other unfortunate ones. XP
